I'm really bad at writing. I'm really bad at keeping up with blogs. However, I'm a really good fangirl!! My cousin posted a link to her blog on Facebook. I was interested to see her blog and immediately clicked on the link. I was astonished to see that it was simple and fun! Random stories are really awesome to read. Who would have thought that reading about rotting bananas being used in cake-baking would have brightened up my day. Thus, her blogging attempts have led me to this very blog post page. I opened up my blog account after reading her blog and realised that I haven't made one single post since signing up a few weeks ago. There is just so much to keep up with. Facebook, Twitter, Livejournal, penpals via emailing and the list goes on.
However, I feel that perhaps blogging could be my answer to poorly used English vocabulary and possibly expressing my feeling about the world and the everyday things that either annoy me, make me happy or simply makes a difference in my life.
Today was not as productive as I hoped it would be, I spent four hours sleeping after lunch. Somehow I think that nap was well deserved. Although, I haven't been to gym since Wednesday. I don't think that doing Pilates two days in a row is good for a body that suffers from chronic back problems. Slip disc is no joke people. Nonetheless, I enjoyed a good poker session with my brother and younger cousin. Playing for fake money is just as fun as playing for real money.
Surprisingly, I did not spend most of my time on Arashi today. Even though I have tons of Arashi shows to catch up with, I decided that today would be devoted to resting or studying Japanese. It feels good to be able to focus my attention on my studies again. What, with the difficult class we had yesterday, I feel it is only essential to spend more time on my studying. Even if it's only for one hour a day.
My quest for the last two weeks, since starting my new online teaching job, was to find more Japanese friends online! I made at least one friend so far. It finally feels good to put my Japanese language skills to use. I'm finding this language exchange via email extremely interesting and so fascinating. The internet has really changed the world in the best way ever. The world has definitely become smaller. Communication has become easier, excuses for losing touch with people should be coming to an end. The age of fast pace communication by just typing out a few words and doing the infamous, one-click action has certainly brought us closer together people. It feels good and sometimes scary to be able to say hi at a click of a button. Well done scientists!!! You have all outdone yourselves.
Have an Arashi day everyone!! Here's some Ninomiya to brighten up your day:D
